For you bring the same old tune
deeply covered on flagrant silks
through time and sand they fly
over troubled waters they swim
before they sink and hit the bottom
they lay still on a dark blue sea

Kept myself knocking
and no answer at the door
not even a dim voice singing
nor my ear heard the wind’s voice
harmonies no longer trembling
late silence widely disclosed

For you brought the same old tune
deeply hidden in understated trims
through time and sand i cried
over troubled waters i believed
before i sunk and hit the bottom
i lay still on a dark blue sea

Kept myself fooling
you had ears to hear my voice
wouldn’t be a dim soft whispering
would enchant your soul of stone
but no skin of yours is trembling
silence fills my soul with void

Kept myself fooling
one day i would find an opened door
kept myself fooling
you had heard the quiet calls

For you bring the same old tune
deeply covered in dull polite skills
in the twentieth of the ours i cried
to the wind my plea i screamed
for that door beholds no color
i laid still in lonely fear

For once and all i leave that door
from now on lies in peace wide shut
shall one day your ears wake up
sounds will no longer hold my voice
only silence and false echoes of my knock
